Though the cat is already out of the bag, I am so happy to report that I've officially joined the team at AMBACH & RICE in Seattle. Over the summer Charlie and Amanda Kitchings asked me to come on board as their East Coast Director and so we spent a few weeks figuring out what that would entail; a whole lot of awesome. My debut on the team happen to coincide with From Whence the Rainbow Came, a killer show of four Seattle legends: Joe Park, Jeffry Mitchell, Dan Webb, and Claude Zervas.

For those of you that don't know, the Kitchings have been doing great things in Seattle for years under the name of OKOK gallery which was part gallery-part book/toy store. I wrote about that iteration of the gallery for Seattle Weekly ages ago. And though the proximity of the art to merchandise never compromised their exhibitions, the Kitchings decided to go full-fledged art gallery a few months ago. Thus was born Ambach & Rice and my involvement there. Again, awesome!! Not only do I love that I get to be a part of such an amazing team (thanks Kitchings) but I am also pretty psyched on the knowledge that I get to be back on the West Coast every 6 weeks. I missed it.
